FIELDS OF ACTIVITY AND MISSIONS
Wastewater treatment (domestic, industrial, etc.), production and distribution of drinking water and industrial water, the holder of a Water Trades BTS manages and monitors the smooth running of these stages on the operating site.
This concerns a multitude of sectors:​

management of water resources (groundwater, etc.)
food industry,
pharmaceutical industry,
aviation industry,
nautical industry (cruise ship, submarines, frigates ...)
nuclear center
fish tanks,
amusement parks, swimming pools, spas,
metallurgy,
water analysis laboratories,
design offices,
but also in humanitarian...
Within these different sectors, the missions are very diverse and relate ​ on
water analysis,
studies and project management
CAD (Computer Aided Design),
operation and regulation of installations,
adjustment and maintenance of equipment,
the operation of distribution and sanitation networks,
coaching and training of teams,
the implementation and control of the monitoring of QSE rules,
the commercial and administrative management of his unit...
Holders of a Water Professions BTS perform both indoor and field missions.
Opportunities are also international , given the specificity of this training and the fact that the 2 world leaders in the water sector are French (Véolia and Suez).
The gross salary, at the start of the career, is between 1700 and 1900 euros per month.
