Dax, seul BTS Métiers de l'Eau du Sud-Ouest de la France
Dax is in the Landes department. Due to its geographical location, Dax is at the crossroads of various exceptional places. The city of Dax is a spa and festive town located 30 km from the sea, 100 km from the mountains (Pyrenees) and right in the Landes forest (632,300 ha). The Spanish border is less than 70 km away.
Dax est une ville thermale et de ce fait, elle offre de nombreuses possibilités de logement à des tarifs raisonnables et bénéficiant des APL (Aide personnalisée au Logement). Il existe aussi une résidence universitaire gérée par le Crous de Dax (Bordeaux) située à proximité immédiate du Lycée de Borda (1 km). Il faut compter environ 350 Euros par mois pour un T1 hors APL.
The BTS Métiers de L'Eau de Dax has almost 300 m² of premises, 50 m² of which are dedicated to water analysis and the rest to treatment pilots (reverse osmosis, nanofiltration,
filtration on sand, filtration on activated carbon, ion exchange resins, coagulation-flocculation-decantation, Jar test, treatment of waste water by activated sludge). In addition, the presence of the Baccalaureate STL (Sciences and Laboratory Techniques) Biotechnologies allows you to take full advantage of the facilities dedicated to microbiological analyses.
